Our cute kids on the first Sunday of 2015.
We are now attending church at 1 to 4 pm for the next 12 months. Nobody complained about going at 1 today, it was really nice to sleep in a lot later than normal. With the first Sunday of the year comes class changes; Lottie is now a Sunbeam, Ally went from the CTR 6 class to the CTR 7 to 8 year old class. Both Trey and McKenna stayed in the same class with the same teachers.

Lottie moved today from Nursery to Sunbeams. We had to do a lot of talking before church to prep her for the time she will be in Primary. She has liked nursery on certain days, it depends a lot on who the teacher is in her class. There is no hesitation with her if Kade and Rhonda Mattson are the teachers. She loves Kade and loves to go into nursery when he is there.
Lucky for her, her new Sunbeam teacher is Grandma JoAnn. JoAnn said that when Lottie and Austin Frandsen walked down to their classroom after sharing time, they both asked her where the toys are at. How funny is that? After church, Lottie was pretty excited to tell everyone that "I go to Grandma's school today!". Hopefully, come next Sunday, she will still be excited to go and look forward to sitting thru Primary again!

Ally was pretty excited about Primary today, knowing that she would be getting a new teacher. Her primary teacher last year was Becky Blackham and she absolutely loved her, not only is she her primary teacher but she was a teacher's aide last year in the kindergarten for Ally, so she was come quite attached to Becky. This year her teacher is Michele Jensen, so she is excited for her too since she is our neighbor. More than anything, she was most excited about her new CTR ring. She wanted to make sure I took a picture of her new ring to remember today by.
TREY
* VALIANT 11 *
Because our ward is small with young families, there are not a lot of kids in Primary, so a lot of the classes are combined, that is why Trey stayed with the Senior Valiant class he has been in since he was 8 with Ross Peterson as his teacher. Today was a special day for Trey, he gave a great talk in Primary about the Atonement and was able to set the tone for the new theme for Primary this year. Trey is excited for the new year because he will get to go to the older scout group, combined with a couple other wards in our stake.
MCKENNA

McKenna will continue on going to Sunday School and Young Women as normal. I am so grateful for the Young Women's program and their great leaders. She adores each of them and looks forward to the fun activities they always plan for them. The current YW President is Kim Jensen, Jodi O'Driscoll, Sally Neal, and Deina Mitton as Secretary. This year McKenna will turn 14 and advance to a Mia-Maid. YW is kinda like Primary in our ward, so small in numbers that they combine the classes. So instead of each of the group of girls dividing up for lessons, they stay all together and are taught all together.
