Today was Trey's first basketball game. Jeremy is lucky enough to be his coach and the team has worked really hard to prepare for today. Even though the team lost, this was really good experience for them to learn from. Trey played good defense and husseled on offense. He was pretty excited when he scored 2 points for the team, and I have to admit that it made my day watching him light up with excitement. The team got new uniforms and Trey has worried about what shorts and shoes he was going to wear for his first game. Trey did spend his own money for new basketball shoes, but unfortunately, they didn't get here in time for his first game. Good job Trey-man, you are the best!
