One good thing about McKenna being in the royalty for Miss Sanpete Outstanding Teen, is that it opens up fun opportunities for the entire family. We were able to make it to the Sterling Pioneer Day's parade this morning. We had never been to this small town celebration, so to be able to participate in it was fun for the whole family.
While McKenna and Lindzey rode the parade route, Trey, Lottie, and Ally loved gathering up all the candy. For being such a small parade, the kids scored big with a lot of candy. They were even fully entertained with the runaway pony pulling the lady on the cart. Who knew that what we thought was just fun ended up being disaster.
Trey was nice enough to share his candy with the girls. They weren't a very good catch so he hand delivered! This was such a fun parade, lucky it was short and sweet because off to the Mayfield parade we go!
