New Years Eve

Our New Year's Eve Party was a huge success.  We had so much fun celebrating and bringing in the New Year with the Redd's and Arehart's this year.  McKenna missed a portion of the party because she was working as the dishwasher at the Lake Side Grill Restaurant.  She was one busy girl and after seeing her hands when she got home, one would only worry that those dish pan hands would take weeks to recover!

 

Meanwhile, we enjoyed great company, great food, and lots and lots of laughs.  We decided to cook Café Rio for dinner and the meal was a huge success.  So between the good dinner and all the snacks, we all enjoyed ourselves.  The kids all played so well together; between the three families, there was someone for everyone to play with the entire time.  The adults mainly just visited.  It was  a lot of fun for us wives to hear about our husband's trip to Texas to kill their whitetail.  Plus so many other funny stories, that most the time we laughed so hard we were all in tears.

And of course, can't forget about Tara about burning the house down trying to cook us a funnel cake.  As you can see, that little small amount of funnel cake had the whole house filled with smoke.  I guess we can't put her in charge of cooking for us anymore!!!!



So exciting to get all together and count down to the New Year.  I had bought a few party supplies, so the kids were loud and excited to see it become 2016!

Our first picture of 2016.  I beyond blessed to have this wonderful man as my best friend and husband.  He truly is the life of the party and always puts a smile on my face.  He definitely knows how to party it up and tonight was a total blast, thanks to him!!!
