Yes, it is that time of year, where our summer days are quickly winding down and main topics at our house are how are going to handle earlier bedtimes, homework, school lunches, and what to wear the first day.  Well, today we decided to conquer the topic of what to wear the first day as we headed north to do our shopping.

 

 

First off, a huge thank you to Aunt Jenna for tending our little Lottie, shopping with her wouldn't have been the same!  We were on a tight schedule, so to not have her to pamper too, sure did make it so much nicer shopping experience.  Plus, I think she had more fun playing with Tripp, Krew, and Maddie than she would have had with us.  So thanks Jenna!

 

Once Lottie was happy, we were off to our back to school shopping adventure.  I treated the kids to a fresh batch of Krispie Kreme doughnuts and drinks to start our shopping trip off right.  From there we hit one store after the next, we went from Old Navy to Kohls to Macy's, then to JcPenney.    Somewhere in there, we did fit a quick bite to eat at Subway.  It was so much fun and the kids were so excited for their new outfits. 

 

As you can see, each of them made a haul of new stuff.

  

 

Yes, I am sad in a way to see summer come to an end, but bring on that first day of school outfit because after that we have descent bedtimes, homework, and school lunches to look forward too!  What more could this mom ask for!
