Little Bit of Redneck . . .

 

So, as you can see I am raising just a little bit of redneck!

 

 

 

We spent the day up north shopping for items that Jeremy would need to take to his sales trip to Texas for Christensen Arms, it also worked out great to be a trip to where we could take back some of those Christmas presents that weren't just right.  One item that we took back was an outfit that McKenna received that after she opened it on Christmas morning, we realized that it was the wrong size.  So after returning it to the store only to find out they didn't have the right size available, we decided to get our money back and she could pick out a completely new outfit.  Well, we shopped at a few stores and needless to say, she couldn't see anything she really loved to buy, so she decided to hang on to her money.

 

Later that afternoon, we went to Cabella's to pick up a few things for Trey's gun and buy a cot for Jeremy.  In the midst of our wandering, McKenna spotted this pellet gun that she thought she had to have.  I wasn't too convinced of it until she told me that she would rather have that right now than to buy a new outfit.  I am not sure why she has such an interest in guns, could it possibly be now that Jeremy is over gun sales, that she wants to be a part of that excitement?  Well, as you can see, she won and a new pellet gun she got!

 

 Trey was as excited as McKenna was for this gun.  This meant that Trey and a shooting partner.  Once we got home, they opened up McKenna's gun and Trey grabbed his, they began to make some comparison on the differences between the two.  I couldn't help but stand back to listen and laugh as I watched them.  Of course, I knew this had to be a Kodak moment, so when I asked for a picture, this is what I got, pretty serious rednecks!
