McKenna was so honored when she was asked to sing the National Anthem at tonight's Extreme Motorcross races in Manti at the Fairgrounds. She has always wanted this opportunity and was so excited when she was asked to perform this in front of a large crowd of over 500 people.
She was pretty nervous, yet the excitement of this opportunity seemed to hide the fear pretty good! She has practiced and practiced this song a lot this week, in fact, we have heard the National Anthem so much the past few days that we probably sing it in our sleep. Its funny to hear Ally and Lottie even break out in song while they are busy playing.
She did an excellent job in her performance, I was so proud of her. What an awesome opportunity for her to have! After the Motorcross was over, McKenna and the other girls in the different royalty's were in charge of handing out the awards to those winners of the different races. McKenna truly loves this opportunity she has to perform and participate is such fun activities!
