Bryce Canyon National Park

Today we decided to take a little road trip as a family to Bryce Canyon National Park!  This has something we have talked about doing for a long time and because it is right in our backyard, we decided to advantage of this fun.

Our first stop was Ruby's Inn Gift Shop.  It was fun seeing all of the rocks, souveniours, and art that focused on Bryce Canyon.  We couldn't help get the kids picture with this big chief!

Next, we drove until we found a picnic area for lunch  At this point we were all starving, so to take a break, get out of the truck, and eat was well earned.  The only problem was that the wind blew and it was a tad chilly.  Ally and Lottie found protection by hiding behind the cooler.  What silly girls!

I have a picture overload, but each stop we hit, the view was simply amazing.  It was so impressive to see how each look out point had such an amazing view and so different from any of the others

Lottie packed around a rock almost the entire trip.  She referred to it as her phone, so occasionally you would see her holding it up taking her own set of pictures! Her she is taking a picture of me while I take a picture of her!

Bryce Point, was by far the most amazing stop of all today.  The views here are so breath taking.  There are several signs posted here that warn danger, hold onto you children for there are steep drop offs.   Granted, everything is fenced, but to look over the fence, it is a straight drop off, which made both Ally and I a little weak being that high up!

Jeremy and I laughed because there were so many people here, it was unreal, and I really wanted a family picture taken.  I asked a lady that looked like she spoke English to take a picture, she agreed, but come to realize, I don't think she was American, she had quite the accent.  I truly think we were the only ones touring Bryce Canyon today that English was our native language; everyone else spoke English as a second language!  The amount of tourism at this place was crazy!!!

After we left the park, we took a stroll down what is called the Old Bryce Town.  This was little shops that looked old fashion, with rustic décor and signs.  The kids had fun posing for some cute pictures!

This is a rock Trey found that fits him to a tee.  We are always telling this kid to listen, so it was appropriate for him to pose!

What a great day and such a memorable trip!  Everyone had a blast.
