This year we went to the annual Gunnison City Easter Egg Hunt held at the City Park. This has always been a fun way for the kids to start out the Easter holiday. It is organized so the little girls are able to find their eggs with the younger age group, whereas, McKenna and Trey search with the older kids. This year all four kids walked away with treats, pencils, small erasers, and other treasures. In sarcasm, Trey was excited about a stamp he picked up. As we were walking to the car, Trey's stopped for a minute and said, "Sweet, I got a stamp!" We all stopped and laughed, needless to say McKenna picked up two stamps too!
Allyson didn't skip a beat! She was able to pick up a whole bunch of eggs and loose candy in an area all by herself! She loved every minute of it!
Tyra, just excited for the few eggs she picked up! She loved being there with her dad by her side picking up the few eggs that caught her attention!
It is just known around the Taylor household, that once you get home from the hunt, the trading begins! So here are the kids, taking a minute to scope out what they picked up so they are able to begin bargaining something else out of their siblings baskets. Surprisingly, this year no one ended up in tears!
