Today was our ward's primary program. Trey and Allyson each did a great job with their lines and songs that were sung. Trey swayed back and forth while he sang, while Allyson was a bit shy standing up in front of everyone. This years primary theme was 'I am a Child of God'. With that in mind, both of them have had the chance to be involved in their memorized line. The primary presidency gave them an idea to start with and then each of them finished out their line with something that seemed fitting to them. Trey's part in the program was "The priesthood has been restored by heavenly messengers. I am preparing to receive the priesthood myself by keeping the commandments." Allyson's line was "My favorite creation Jesus made is my family because they love me!" Such a great program with such a great message. After watching such a cute program like today's performance, it makes me so grateful for primary and the importance it is in the life of my children.
