Putting Together Valentines!

This year for Valentines, Allyson wanted to go with the Frozen theme Valentines Day treats and box.  We must have been a day too late when it came to finding Frozen Valentine cards, so she settled for the next best thing, Sofia the First.  She did such a good job in writing her name on each card for each of her class mates in Mrs. Oliver's class.  She patiently put the treats in the small envelope as well as the Sofia the First card.

Trey decided that for his Valentine's box this year that he wanted to make some kind of basketball court.  We searched on Pinterest for different ideas and we decided to our own design.  We went to work with a boot box, black rolled paper, and his BYU hoop.  We drew up a design for the front and sides of the box and had Shaylie Caldwell at the Copy Station put our design on paper.
So, here is Trey's Valentine's Box before. . .

Trey's Valentine's Day box.  The final project turned out so great!

Trey and I decided that it would be fun for him to tie his treats in with his box, so we had small basketballs printed out with a Valentine saying printed on it.  He stapled two packages of sixlets to the ball so it looked like it had legs.  Ended up being a huge hit in Mrs. Arleen Jensen's classroom.
