Valentine's Day!

I love Valentine's Day, for five reasons, Jeremy, McKenna, Trey, Ally, and Lottie.
These five people mean the world to me and even though I tell them everyday that I love them, there is just something special about Valentines Day that gives me the opportunity to show them just a little bit more.  Look at those faces, they truly are my everything!

Everyone woke up happy and looking forward to their day.  Trey and Ally were so excited to be taken their cute Valentines boxes to class and to get to pass out their Valentine treats.  McKenna didn't have any Valentines to pass out this year, so she just went to school looking, oh so cute.  And then little Lottie, we put together 'Do Do Dora' treats for her to take to day care.  It was funny, she acted to proud of them when she walked in to day care with a baggie full of treats.

McKenna had some good luck today at school.  All week they have had a contest for all the middle school kids to guess how many candies were in this heart cup.  McKenna was the lucky winner out of the whole school guessing 115.  She was pretty excited for the cute cup plus all that candy!

Later that night, the Valentines for the kids were kicked at the back door.  We are surrounded by mud at our house, so my only resort to kick the surprise was the back door.  I was able to kick the gifts and make it in the house in time to see their faces.  Each of them received a small bag of treats and a prize from Jeremy and I.  Oh, I love the little things that make these kids smile!

Allyson and Lottie each received puzzles that came in a cute tin box, Ally's was the Sofia the First puzzle and Lottie got the Doc McStuffins one.  McKenna was jumping for joy when she opened up the '8 Seconds' movie and Trey couldn't believe that he received the 'Despicable Me 2' movie.

Happy Valentine's Day kiddos!  We love you more than words can say.

After the kids calmed down from the excitement, Jeremy and I were lucky enough to send them off to Grandma JoAnn's for the weekend.  We spent the weekend up north, yes just the two of us!  We enjoyed eating out, sleeping in, and shopping together.  It has been so long since it was just the two of us, it was like we didn't know how to act!  We were able to eat at Texas Roadhouse, Red Lobster, IHop, and Coldstone without interruption!  Enjoyed every minute I had with this wonderful guy of mine.

Happy Valentines Day!
