Every summer, Aunt Jenna and I try and get the kids to the Payson Pool for some summer fun. For some reason, we are always trying to cram it in a few days before school starts; why we don't plan better is beyond me. We decided to come up Monday, the same week that school starts, for a fun filled afternoon. And boy did they have fun, the big kids didn't seem to want to ever leave! But why would you, look at this place, it is like heaven on a hot summer day!
Trey and McKenna each brought their best friends, so this made it even better for a last summer party. Trey brought Shea Anderson and McKenna invited McKaylyn Edwards. Just a few funnies that we talked about with these kids on this trip, McKenna and McKaylyn were asked twice if they were sisters, would it be the almost matching swimsuits, hair, and how well they get along? If anyone would have known, their names could qualify them as sisters too, not too many girl friends share the 'McK' as part of their names! Also, to have Trey and Shea, names that rhyme and as Trey pointed out, the letter E is the third letter in both their names!
Maddie, Ally, and Lottie had a ball playing in the water together today. I think they loved the lazy river more than anything. It was cute, little Lottie warmed right up to Jenna and wanted her to hold her while we went around the river while Ally and Maddie floated in the pink floaties.
Jen had to get home to the twins, so she took the little girls to go home to get dressed and play. This worked out great because it allowed the big kids several more hours of fun, we didn't end up getting gout of there until 7. On our way out of town, we stopped and grabbed several pizzas and breadsticks from Little Ceasars and ended up eating at Jen's. Everyone had so much fun, we just need to plan better for next year and fit a few more trips in during our summer break!
Also, thanks to Aunt Jenna for the pictures!
