~ July 27th - Day 4 ~
Okay, so earlier I had posted that I was grateful for modern technology and Disney, well this morning I am grateful for Justin Bieber. We hadn't even hit the freeway headed home, when Lottie insisted we watch "her Bieber". So we turned on McKenna's Justin Bieber movie for all to watch, and Lottie and Allyson went crazy. It isn't like they had never seen the movie before, it's just that they are obsessed with Justin Bieber, about as bad as McKenna is with him. Poor Trey, stuck in the middle of these three Bieber fans. He is a good sport and willingly watched the movie with the girls, again.
Our ride home today was not too bad. The kids obviously had plenty to watch, but for some reason it felt like it was a shorter drive home than it was to get to Laramie on day one. There isn't a lot to look at on this trip, just a whole lot of rolling hills. Once in a while we would drive past the wind mills that are randomly placed throughout different parts of Wyoming. The kids thought they were pretty cool and amazed at how big they stand. And if we could have one dollar for every diesel truck we saw, we would be rich beyond measure!
Our only really stop was in Evanston where we grabbed a quick bite to eat and let the kids play on the playground. We promised that too them a ways back, so they had something fun to look forward too! After about 1,150 miles round trip, we finally pulled into Gunnison at about 6:30 pm. All were ready to be home to enjoy a Saturday evening.
This definitely was a great and wonderful family vacation. It will be something that will plan to go again in years to come. The kids were so good and we made some great memories.
