July 2013 Highlights

~ July 2013 ~

*  This time of year is always so fun and memorable.  From swimming to barbeques, we all love this time of year!
*  Jeremy worked so hard to get the cement pad poured in the back of the house.  It will be so nice when it is all done.
*  Had a fun few days celebrating the 4th of July in Gunnison.  Good times, good food, and fun memories.
*  The girls have had fun watching the Justin Beiber movie and music videos.  Ally keeps asking, "Mom, why does Justin Bieber have to be so cute and so hot!"  Love it!
*  Jeremy and Trey went to the Casino Star Theatre to watch 'Lone Ranger'.
*  McKenna and I had fun throwing a Bridal Shower for Morgan.  The night was a huge success, despite the windy weather.
*  Jeremy and Trey roped at the Blackhawk, outdoor arena, as part of the Redmond Roping.
*  McKenna had a sleepover with Brynn.  This was a fun night for those two to get together and begin the preparations for the Bridal Shower.
*  McKenna went for three days and two nights to help Aunt Jenna.  She loved playing with those three cute kiddos.  Besides hanging out, Jenna took her and Maddie to the Despicable Me 2 movie and to the waterfalls outside of Payson.
*  I took the four kids to Torrey on a Saturday morning to see the Big Apple Days celebration.   The kids had so much fun watching the parade and catching all the candy.  Plus we enjoyed hanging out and eating lunch at the campground with Grandpa and Grandma Okerlund.  It was so much fun that they can't wait to go back next year!
*  McKenna went and did Baptism for the Dead with the Young Women / Young Men in our ward.  She loves participating in this spiritual experience.
*  Jeremy went with his scout group to Palisade's golf course.
*  We went as a family to the Ute Stampede.  We were spoiled this year because we had front row seats.
*  We took 389 pictures this month!
