Today was Trey's first field trip for the school year. The entire 4th grade was going to see Cove Fort and the Old Capital in Fillmore. Trey was so excited for today, not only did he get to pack a home lunch, but he got out of school work for the day plus it is one that day that they let them wear a hat to school. I dropped him off at 7:15 am and he didn't return back home until 4:00 pm.
He learned a lot of this fun field trip, some of the stuff pertained to what the pioneers did at Cove Fort, what the pioneers did for shingles in the olden days, he learned about the donkey adoption, and last but not least, he came home all excited about knowing how to play hand games with a piece of yarn. However, Trey's favorite part of the trip was learning about Cove Fort and watching the bird show at the Old Capitol Art Days.
