Winter Wonderland

This morning when we got up, we woke up to a winter wonderland.  It was a school day, the McKenna, Trey, and Ally were all up and ready to go to school, so I had to wake Lottie up to load her up in the car.  She thought all the snow was pretty cool, so after we dropped the kids off and got home, she was busy getting her gloves, coat and shoes on and she insisted on going outside to play in the snow.  As you can see she just woke up only ten minutes before this photo was taken and there was no convincing her to change her clothes.

 

 

I had fun watching her as she played for a few minutes in the snow.  She loved trying to catch the flakes on her tongue and catching it on her gloves.  She was only outside for a few minutes but I enjoyed hearing her little giggle and watching her smile from cheek to cheek. 

The best part of it was when she said, "Mom, dis is Awesome!".

 

 

 

 

It wasn't long and she was freezing and ready to come in.  Being outside not only made her day, but it made mine, thinking about her telling me that "dis is awesome" made me smile all day!
