Mini Cadbury Eggs - Satisfaction for Chocolate Cravings
 

Oh, Cadbury Eggs, how I love you so . . .

There are many people who may not know.

That when this time of year rolls around,

Cadbury Eggs, I know exactly where you can be found!

I have loved your taste since I was young,
Whenever I find an unopened bag, it becomes unstrung.
First one I eat, plop, in my mouth it goes . . .
How many will I eat?  No one knows!

I stock up on you every Easter with many bags . . .
The result of this may be my butt one day sags!
But it is okay, because you see,
Your importance is everlasting to me!

And so I guess, now everyone knows,
How the rest of this yummy story goes . . .
No matter how many I eat,
Cadbury eggs, you will always be my favorite treat!

 



 

 

Several weeks ago in McKenna's 8th grade English class, they were studying poems and the many different ways you can write them.  This particular week, they were studying poems of happiness and things that brought joy to people's lives.  Therefore, their class assignment was to write a poem about something that makes you happy, and something you wish you could onto forever.  McKenna said that several students in her class wrote about their animals, family, the outdoors, etc, where McKenna decided to write it on her favorite Easter treat.  She said that Mrs. Alvey kept asking her what her poem was about as she was writing it, because McKenna sat at her desk in giggles trying to put this poem together.  After she was done, Ms. Alvey could not wait to read her creativity.  Of course, she giggled and took it down to several other teachers to let them read it!  Everyone loved it and of course, who would argue to the truthfulness of this poem, Cadbury Eggs are everyone's favorite treats!  This girl and her creativity cracks me up!
