Spring Training - Cowboy Style

 

 I love this kid and his desire to ride horses.  For only being 11 years old, he is an awesome team roper and rider.  Not only is Trey good on the horse, but he is truly blessed to have such a good horse to ride.  Smoke is worth his weight in gold for what he has done and taught Trey.  Even though he did buck him off once this spring, that doesn't put a dent in the confidence he has taught Trey in all the time they have spent together. 

 

 

Trey truly amazes me the talents he has with these animals.  He must take after his dad because there is something that they share that I will never understand.  Here it is the first week of March and he is ready to rope.  These boys have roped more in February and March than I think they did all last summer.  The weather has been amazing, which leaves the evening and Saturdays open to rope.  Excellent opportunity for spring training from a cowboys point of view!  Keep up the good work Trey man, your hard work will pay off.
