Wow, I can't even begin to believe that there are 3 days left of school. Today was a busy day for all three kids. Allyson was able to go on her first field trip which was to the Mayfield Park. All the kindergarten kids met at school first thing on Wednesday morning. She said that the best thing about the park was the parachutes, the little house, and the playground. They fed them all snacks and then they were able to go home. Trey's year-end field trip was hiking in the White Hills to see petroglyphs. Afterwards they returned back to school for lunch and then they went to the Casino Star Theatre to watch the recently released movie 'Rio 2'. Trey said that best part about his field trip was it all, but he thought the movie was pretty good. McKenna was looking forward to today because they received their yearbooks and was able to spend time signing class mates year books.

With school coming to an end also means an end to homework. Yay for mom! Here is a picture of Allyson doing her very last work list and story. She has been very faithful in reading the word list three times every nights as well as the story two times. The last little while has gotten a little harder to get them all done because we get home after work and school we go and so when we get home late, Ally has been too tired to do homework. So we have been doing homework in the morning while she is getting her hair done. So that part of summer I know I will not miss!
Today was the day that we finished putting together the presents to give to teachers. I had Allyson and Trey write their own name on the cards and tied them to these bottles of soda. I think they turned out pretty cute and from what the kids say, there were a hit.
