One activity that every kids looks forward to in the fifth grade, is the 5th Grade Pet Show. Trey was excited when he brought home the note that the pet show is quickly approaching. He debated back and forth on what pet he should take to show off to the GVES students. Should he take his horse Smoker, our dog Izzy, or our pet rabbit Whopper.
Whopper it is! He thought bringing the bunny would be more fun and a lot easier to show off than his dog or his horse. It worked out great and the bunny was quite the attraction for the kids, especially the younger grades that came through to see all the animals.
Lottie loved the pet show, especially Kort Sorensen's puppy. She was quite attached to this little thing and had fun playing with it while at the pet show.
It was fun for Allyson to walk through with her classmates. She had mentioned this morning that she wanted to bring the bunny to school for show-n-tell, so it made it nice that as the class walked through the pet show, we were able to point out that this was Ally's bunny too.
Trey was pretty cute and enjoyed this so much. It made my day when we were sitting there waiting for the next group to walk through and he said, "This is awesome!". He loved the attention and the excitement that the rabbit brought to the other kids.
