GVES Christmas Program

Tonight was the Gunnison Valley Elementary School Christmas program.  This is a fun start for the holidays.  Trey and Ally have been singing Christmas songs for months in preparation for tonight's program.  It is kind of a bittersweet moment for me because this was Trey's last Christmas program, since next year he will be in middle school, I will definitely miss seeing him next year.

It was a darling program and the kids sang great.  Ally's 1st grade class learned the song 'It's a Marshmallow World' and Trey's 5th grade class sang the songs 'It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas' and 'Let's build a snowman'.  Then as a school, they sang several Christmas songs, these are always pretty entertaining.

Trey was honored to be asked to be one of the twelve students asked to play Christmas songs on the piano as part of the pre-show to the program.  He took turns playing the two Christmas songs that he has memorized, one is 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas' and 'Deck the Halls'.

Cute cousins and friends, Ally and Bryler.

Good friends and classmates, Bryler Blackburn, Allyson, Kadence Barclay.  D'Enna Barclay. the one on the far right, just wanted to try to fit right in with the big girls.
