Easter Morning

Well, the Easter Bunny found us and the kids were pretty excited that he did.  After being up and searching the house over, they were starting to wonder if he stopped by our house his year or hopped right on by.  They looked out the windows and no baskets or eggs, so where did he go and where did he take their baskets?  Well the search was finally solved when Jeremy came in from doing the morning chores and said he spotted the baskets in the garage.  That silly rabbit hid their baskets on the back of our truck, out of the garage.  I can't believe the kids didn't think to look out there.

I am not sure if they were more excited about their new shirts, shoes, and added extras as they were about each having their own, yes their very own bag of Cadbury eggs.  Regardless, each of them were all smiles for their basket of goodies.  The Easter Bunny also hid their colored eggs and left the cartons on the back of the truck, so the kids knew to find them.  The kids had fun searching for their eggs, Ally and Lottie's eggs were pretty easy, but McKenna and Trey's got a little tougher.  Luckily they all worked together to find them.

After all the eggs were found, we went in and ate a bunny pancake breakfast.   We then enjoyed a wonderful morning hanging out as a family, eating Easter treats and watching conference.  Once the first session of conference was over, the kids were super excited about our picnic with the Okerlund's.  So we quickly got ready and headed over to the White Hills to celebrate some more!
