NSHS Junior Prom

Tonight was so fun to watch the promenade dance at the North Sevier High School's Junior Prom.  This year we went to watch both Trevor and Porter perform in the promenade.  This is Trevor's Junior year, so it was an extra special night for him.  He had a beautiful date, Miss Savvy Sorensen, that he asked to go to prom with him this year.

Trevor and Savvy made a darling couple, his charcoal grey suit looked stunning next to her beautiful royal blue gown.  She is a beautiful young lady and my girls think she is wonderful because she is currently the Miss Utah Outstanding Teen.  So to think that their cousin dates such a celebrity is pretty cool!  Trevor looked great and as always, is such a genuine good kid.

Porter, only being a sophomore this year, also had the opportunity to play apart in this year's Jr. Prom too.  There was a junior girl that did not have a date and Porter stepped up to the plate to make sure this junior girl had a date to her junior prom.   Porter is also such a genuinely kind, tender-hearted, good kid.  I was lucky enough to catch him on the go long enough to grab this cute picture of him and Lottie.  Lottie was excited because she said she got to dance with him, but only for a thirty seconds before he was off again.  We will get better pictures next year with all four kids when it is actually Porter's Jr. Prom.

Experiencing this night with my kids was so fun.  All four kids enjoyed seeing their cousins all dressed up, looking pretty spiffy.  It is hard for me to believe these two young men are old enough to be dating and enjoying these moments in high school.   I am proud of both boys, for what good kids they are and the fine examples they set for their cousins.
