Great Grandma Taylor's Funeral

Today was a beautiful day, a day that we were able to remember and honor our
Great Grandma Lela Taylor
She passed away on March 8, 2014 after spending the last two months in the hospital.  We were fortunate enough to see her and spend sometime with her in the Provo hospital shortly after she broke her hip.  The funeral was a wonderful tribute to what a wonderful person she was.  Grandma Lela had a special way about her as she always had concern about others.  She was proud of her family and loved each of us dearly.  It was fun to hear the many stories about her and what a wonderful cook she was.  She was known to always have goodies to share whenever the kids or grandkids stopped by to visit.  One thing our kids remember about her is the fact that she never forgot about them on their birthdays.  They could always expect a personalized birthday card in the mail with five dollars awaiting them.  More than anything, it was good to hear of her strong love and testimony of the gospel.  Her strong example has been passed on to all her posterity.

Jeremy was fortunate to dedicate the grave for his Grandma Lela.  He did a wonderful job, the words he spoke truly showed how he felt for his Grandma!
