SCF - Ag Olympics, Face Painting, Pee Wee Barrels

Tonight's acitivies included the Ag Olympics, Face Painting, and the Pee Wee Barrell races.  After the girls were finished helping get the Ag Olympics set up, they were able to a photo shoot with their ropes and boots.  They turned out pretty cute, McKenna was the only one that knew had to hold and throw a rope!  Afterwards, the girls went to the livestock barn and then off to the Pee Wee Races.

In the meantime, Lottie decided she wanted to participate in the Ag Olympics, roping competition.  She was pretty proud of her roping skills, even though it wasn't quite enough to win a ribbon.

When the Ag Olumpics were over, Lottie couldn't wait to get her face painted.  There were kids walking around as bunnies, horses, cats, and so Lottie wanted to be a dog.  She told the lady that she wanted it black and white, so when asked what type of dog she wanted, Lottie wanted it like our dogs.  So with much creativeness, the lady painting came up with a Blue Heeler puppy for Lottie.  Lottie loved it!  In fact, she was quite upset when someone thought she was a cat.

Allyson had actually stayed in Gunnison with her dad to watch Trey's football game.  When I saw all the excitement going on, I talked Jeremy into meeting me in Sterling to drop Ally off to me.  I knew the moment we walked in the door and she saw what she missed, she would be upset.  So the plan worked out great and Ally was able to get her face painted and hang out with Lottie and I while McKenna did her thing.  Allyson wanted to be a pretty butterfly, so it was fun to see those bright  colors arranged in such beautiful artwork on my cute little Ally!

After the Ag Olympics and Face Painting, McKenna headed over to the Pee Wee Barrel Races.  The girls and I went through the livestock barns and then over to the races.  It was fun to see and watch these fun barrel races with kids riding motorcycles!
