Tyra's Temper

This may not look like much, but the story behind it has had our entire family continually laughing for days.  So last night, before dinner, Jeremy was letting Ally and Lottie take turns on his back for he was the horse.  We had to stop the fun so we could eat and then afterwards, Lottie talked Trey into being the horse.  After a little while, we told them we needed to quit playing horse so we could say prayers and go to bed.  Lottie was extremely tired and pitched a royal fit because she wanted to play horse.  Jeremy and I kept telling her no, to the point she got so made she stormed off into her bedroom and slammed the door shut as loud as she could.  We went on to say prayers without her and sent McKenna, Trey, and Allyson off to bed.  Just as Jeremy was walking down the hall from the stairs, here comes Lottie out her bedroom, just a bee bopping down the hall in all smiles.  She walked in the front room, sat this etch a sketch thing on the floor and turned to walk in her bedroom.  Just as she started her way down the hall, Jeremy and her made eye contact, which caused and instant change of attitude.  She once again stormed off into her bedroom, slammed the door and started crying.  Jeremy tried to follow her in to calm her down and she wanted nothing to do with him.  I tried to go in and in the midst of her crying, she kept saying, "This is the worst day ever".  Poor thing, it was hard not to laugh and there is no way I would have dared walk in laughing at her.

The funny thing of it is, is that we didn't even notice what she had drawn on this until this morning.  Jeremy brought it in to me while I was getting ready and we just busted up laughing.  She had been in there after the first time she slammed the door and ended up drawing this picture of a little person with a frowny face and was so proud of it that she had to walk it out into the family room and leave it for all to see.  We all have laughed at the thought of her sitting up on her bed, mad, in tears, trying to draw this sad little person.  And then for her to think about trying to sneak it out in the front room without saying anything, has had all of us just laughing.  Little Lottie is a nut, her imagination seems to never stop, totally cracks us all up!
