So today is the last and final day of the fair. McKenna has been here so faithfully all week, participating in all the fun and activities that she could be too. The last day is always the very busiest, in fact, she was here at 8:30 this morning to get to work! Trey, Lottie, Jeremy and I came up to watch the fair parade. It was actually a really good parade, entries were great!
This year, McKenna and her royalty rode in the back of a pickup truck. I felt bad because I didn't get that good of picture of them. Usually someone at the beginning of the parade grabs one, but everyone was so busy, they didn't get one either. I guess its good that we have plenty of other picture of them during the week, that the parade is just a minor one to not have!
We were sitting right in the sun, so Trey and Lottie were excited to see the guy with the hose spraying people down! Trey asked for a direct hit and boy did he get it!
Lottie and her posing skills, love her!!!
After the parade, the four of us went home and McKenna stayed for the rest of the evening. Tonight was the second performance of the Rodeo. Unfortunately no pictures, but McKenna had a blast. She rode the arena for the royalty announcement, did the Nae Nae dance, threw t-shirts, and rode the carnival. One perk to being royalty is that she received a free wristband to the carnival, so in the midst of her stuff, her and a few girls would go and ride the rides. She came home with Dillon and Shyanne and said that she was still spinning from all the rides that she got to ride on all night! I am so glad McKenna has had this great opportunity to service and play at the same time. I am grateful that she has had so much fun and made such great memories. So onto a great year with this girl and all the things she will do being apart of this year's royalty!
