"You don't think about how tired you are, you just think about how fun it is!"
These were Trey's words on our way home from his first tackle foot ball game. He loved every minute of it. He had two really good tackles and then was able to help his team in other areas that led them to a great victory over Mount Pleasant. Trey played most of the game, both offense and defense; the only time he sat was after he got hit hard and it knocked the wind right out of him. These Gunnison boys held the Mt Pleasant team with a 20 to 0 win.
Trey's game day jersey is #18 and lucky for me, he wore bright yellow socks. These socks were about the the only way we could spot him, especially when there is a pile of boys out on the field. Trey has taken the time to learn all their plays and so he knew where he needed to be and when he needed to be there.
Great win Gunnison! We are excited to see how the remainder of your season will go, especially on how well you played today! Trey, good job to you! It makes me proud to see how you excel at everything you put your mind too! Keep up the good work!
